Solution: Fresh lemon juice and a red onion
Lemon juice and red onions are naturally acidic, and when combined together, they create a gentle-yet-effective at-home alternative to dark spot and hyperpigmentation treatments.
For best results, blending ¼ of a red onion with freshly squeezed lemon  juice before applying it to the desired area. After 10 to15 minutes, wash off the homemade treatment with a mild cleanser.

Zika virus infection!!! Be aware of it!!!

An overview of this alarming virus - named as 

Zika virus:


  • Zika virus is spread through mosquito bites.
  • Zika virus outbreaks have occurred in parts of Africa, Southeast Asia, the Pacific Islands, the Caribbean, Central America, and South America. Thus far in the continental United States, Zika virus infections have only been reported in returning travelers.
  • The illness is usually mild; the most common symptoms of Zika virus infection include fever, rash, joint pain, and redness of the eyes.
  • A possible link between Zika virus infection and Guillain-Barre syndrome has been reported in some individuals.
  • In addition, concern has been raised about a possible link between Zika virus infection in pregnant women and subsequent birth defects, specifically microcephaly.

How might a Zika virus infection be treated?

  • There is no vaccine to prevent Zika virus infections, nor is there a specific medicine to treat Zika.
  • Individuals infected with the Zika virus should get plenty of rest, drink fluids, and take medications such as acetaminophen for pain. Aspirin and anti-inflammatory medications (NSAIDS) should be avoided until dengue has been ruled out.
  • Taking steps to prevent mosquito bites is the most effective way to protect oneself.
  • People traveling to countries in which Zika virus outbreaks have occurred are encouraged to use insect repellent, wear long sleeves and long pants, and use window and door screens when inside.

These are the 20 "silly" things that you should never do to your baby... Never!!

Babies are the most curious things on earth!!! They have the knack to do anything unusual and unwanted!!! So it's your concern to be cautious....and careful....and never do the following 20 "silly" things to your baby....NEVER!!!!


(1) Don’t let your baby play with balloons or plastic bags -- they could be a choking hazard.
(2) Never put stuffed animals or dolls that hold cassette tapes near your baby when she sleeps because if the tape unwinds it could cause strangulation.
(3) Never let your baby snack on crackers or other bread products all day. These can make her less interested in more nourishing foods and can fill her up.
(4) Never leave your baby with a stranger.
(5) Never put magnets on the refrigerator door because these magnets can break and the small pieces can cause a choking hazard.
(6) Never put off decorating your nursery because you might not have time after the baby arrives.
(7) Never put solid foods, like cereal, in your baby's bottle since it may pose a choking hazard and it also adds unnecessary calories.
(8) Never put clothes that has loose ties or strings on your baby because these could cause strangulation.
(9) Never put too many large toys in the playpen with an older baby who can pull herself up. She might use these to climb out.
(10) Never give your infant any small, hard foods, such as nuts, popcorn or raisins.
(11) Never heat bottles in the microwave because the milk could get too hot and burn your baby.
(12) Never keep loose objects in the back seat of the car when baby is in the car seat. If the car suddenly stops, the objects can fall on your baby.
(13) Never leave a baby alone in a parked car for any reason.
(14) Never leave your newborn baby with a toddler, even if they seem to be getting along. Toddlers may endanger the baby without even knowing it because they are sometimes unpredictable.
(15) Never leave plastic dry cleaner bags near the baby's room because your baby can pull off pieces and choke on them.
(16) Never leave your baby alone, except in a crib.
(17) Never leave your child in the bathtub alone.
